Position: Shrink Wrap Operator Company: Varun Beverages Zambia Limited Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Fresh Graduate Required Qualifications: Electrical / Mechanical Background – Fresh Graduate (Diploma or Craft Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering) Full Grade 12 Certificate with credits or better. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills. High level of integrity, discipline, and commitment to hygiene and safety standards. Willingness to work in shifts within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate secondary packaging shrink wrapping machines and bundle packers at the end of the packaging line. Monitor film tension, sealing temperature, and heat tunnel temperatures for secure pack formation. Ensure correct pack configurations (e.g., 6-packs, 12-packs, 24-packs) and pallet ready output. Perform routine mechanical cleaning, lubrication, and immediate fault resolution on wrapper mechanisms.
