AFRIWORKS ZAMBIA LIMITED — EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Afriworks Zambia Limited is looking to employ a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated individual to fill the position of Quantity Surveyor. Position: Quantity Surveyor Company: Afriworks Zambia Limited Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred) or Construction Management from a reputable institution. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in construction estimating, contract administration, and quantity surveying. Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documentation, cost estimates, and interim payment valuations. Ability to work under minimum supervision. A proactive team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Innovative mindset and keen attention to detail. Able to begin work immediately. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost plans, estimates, and project budgets. Manage contract administration, procurement documentation, and subcontractor valuations. Perform on-site measurements, progress assessments, and cost reconciliation. Prepare interim payment certificates and final project accounts. Monitor material utilization and expenditure against project budgets.
