Amsons Group | Position: Driver BVO (Bulk Vehicle Operator) | Driver Wanted!

Kalahari Trans (ZM) Ltd, a leading transport and logistics company under the Amsons Group, is seeking highly experienced, safety-oriented, and reliable drivers for the position of Driver BVO (Bulk Vehicle Operator) based in Lusaka, Zambia.



Key Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years of professional heavy-duty truck driving experience and above.
Tanker driving experience is an advantage.
Valid commercial driver's license (Category PSV / Heavy Goods / Dangerous Goods endorsement).
Clean driving record with proven track record of road safety and vehicle care.
Strong commitment to road safety, defensive driving, and transport compliance.
Punctual, disciplined, sober, and dependable personality.




Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate heavy articulated trucks and bulk tankers on designated routes within Zambia and regionally.
Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tyres, fluids, brakes, couplings).
Ensure safe loading, transport, and offloading of bulk materials and cargo in compliance with hazardous/bulk transport guidelines.
Maintain accurate logbooks, consignment notes, delivery receipts, and trip reports.
Report any vehicle faults, delays, or incidents immediately to the fleet management team.
