WE ARE HIRING — HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER Company: Apex Packaging Zambia Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates Application Deadline: 31st October 2026 A reputable manufacturing company based in Lusaka, Zambia, specializing in corrugated packaging, is seeking a qualified, motivated, and results-oriented professional to join its dynamic team as a Human Resources Officer. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, staff recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations within the manufacturing plant. Manage staff records, contracts, attendance, leave schedules, and payroll inputs in compliance with Zambian labour laws. Coordinate staff performance appraisals, disciplinary hearings, and grievance handling. Ensure workplace compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and statutory labour standards. Facilitate training, professional development, and employee engagement programs. Requirements & Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field. Active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing certificate. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant human resources work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Past experience in the corrugated carton industry will be an added advantage. In-depth knowledge of the Zambian Employment Code Act and labour legislation. Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
