ZAMBIA MEDICINES AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES AGENCY (ZAMMSA) — EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES 👥 Grade: ZMS 02 | Position: Director – Human Resource and Administration (x01) The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian Nationals to fill the position of Director – Human Resource and Administration (x01). Reports to: Director General Main Job Purpose: To coordinate the human resource management, security, maintenance, transport and administrative functions in order to ensure effective operations of the Agency. Main Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Policies: Coordinate the development and implementation of HR policies and strategies aligned with corporate goals. HR Management & Development: Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, training, and staff welfare. Administrative Services: Coordinate administrative support, office services, records management, and logistical operations. Transport & Security: Oversee transport and distribution fleet logistics; coordinate security services for medicines, assets, facilities, and personnel. Maintenance: Ensure maintenance of facilities, infrastructure, cold-chain installations, and equipment. Departmental Leadership: Lead HR and administration teams, manage budgets, oversee PMS implementation, and foster a culture of excellence. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent. Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Full Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) with a valid practicing license. Minimum of 8 years’ work experience, 4 of which must be at senior management level.
