Huachen International Supply Chain Limited seeks to employ Operations Interns in the Operations Department to join our growing team. POSITION: Operations Interns – (X2) DEPARTMENT: Operations LOCATION: Ndola JOB PURPOSE To oversee the operational flow of our fleet. Responsible for supervising drivers, managing loading procedures, and ensuring the smooth execution of transport operations from start to finish. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Fleet Tracking: Monitor vehicle movements using GPS (e.g., Tramigo) and provide daily tracking updates. 2. Driver Coordination: Assist in scheduling drivers/trucks and ensuring compliance with designated routes. 3. Documentation: Process and manage transport documents (PODs and Receipts). 4. Reporting & Escalation: Log fuel usage, trip reports, and promptly report delays, breakdowns, or incidents. 5. Departmental Support: Maintain accurate data entries in Excel/logistics systems and handle basic administrative tasks. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 1. Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2. Must be resident in Ndola, Kitwe or the Copperbelt. 3. No experience required, graduates encouraged to apply. OTHER REQUIREMENTS 1. Must be available full-time for the internship period. 2. Knowledge of Microsoft operating tools 3. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 4. Ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines. 5. Strong communication and organizational skills. MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: ZMW3,400.00 to 3,900.00 NOTE. All interviews are strictly in-person, at our Sakania Yard in Ndola. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
