JOB VACANCY: Customs Clearing and Forwarding Officers Multiport Logistics Limited | Lusaka | Multiport Logistics is a leading Zambian logistics and transportation company providing clearing and forwarding services to local and international clients, and transporting imported vehicles, raw materials, agro-equipment, plastic granules and general goods. The role Manage customs clearing, coordinate cargo clearance and keep import and export shipments moving efficiently, accurately and in compliance. Key responsibilities Capture and register declarations on ASYCUDA World (ZRA), matching all details to supporting documents Prepare and process import/export documentation and declarations Classify goods under correct HS codes and keep classification records Calculate and verify customs taxes and fees Liaise with ZRA, ports, shipping lines, transporters, warehouses and clients Track shipments and give timely status updates Resolve clearance delays, discrepancies and exceptions Follow customs, trade and company procedures; keep accurate records Respond to client enquiries professionally Requirements Diploma or Advanced Certificate in customs clearing and forwarding, logistics, supply chain, international trade or a related field At least 3 years’ experience in customs clearing, freight forwarding or logistics Experience with customs documentation, declarations, tariff classification and tax calculations Skilled in ASYCUDA World, Excel, Word, Outlook and shipment tracking tools Accurate, organised, dependable and calm under pressure; strong communicator and team player How to apply Email your cover letter, detailed CV (with at least 2 traceable references) and copies of qualifications to multiports3@gmail.com Subject line: “Application – Customs Clearing and Forwarding Officer” Deadline: 30 October 2026Requirements
