Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy “Lulu” Muteke’s luxury-themed coffins, featuring striking designs inspired by Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, have got social media talking.

The caskets were displayed at Doves Funeral Services in Harare on Wednesday as the couple’s funeral service got underway.

Rolls-Royce-Inspired Coffin For Chivayo
Chivayo’s coffin features a Rolls-Royce-style front grille and is finished in white with ornate gold detailing.

The coffin bears a “WMC 777” number plate and was also draped with the Zimbabwean national flag following Chivayo’s declaration as a Provincial Hero.

White roses and candles were arranged around the coffin at the funeral venue, adding to the elaborate presentation.

Lulu’s Mercedes-Benz-Themed Casket
Lulu’s coffin carries a similar luxury-vehicle theme, featuring a Mercedes-Benz-inspired front grille and emblem.

Like Chivayo’s, her casket is predominantly white with gold detailing and was surrounded by floral arrangements and candles during the funeral service.

The distinctive automotive designs have become a major talking point as mourners gathered to pay their final respects to the couple.
