Lusaka came alive over the weekend as the 2026 Coca-Cola Food Fest attracted large crowds to the Polo Field Showgrounds, where residents gathered for a memorable celebration of food, music, drinks and entertainment.

Held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, the festival delivered a lively atmosphere as patrons turned up in numbers to enjoy a packed programme featuring local and international musical acts, culinary experiences and interactive brand activations.

The event brought together food lovers and music enthusiasts for a day of entertainment, with several artists taking to the stage to mesmerise festivalgoers. South African Amapiano powerhouse duo TxC headlined the international line-up, alongside popular acts LeeMcKrazy and Zambian music star Yo Maps.

Their performances added to the festival atmosphere, with patrons enjoying a blend of local sounds and South African Amapiano rhythms. Many attendees described the experience as breathtaking, highlighting the combination of music, food and social entertainment as one of the major attractions of the event.

Beyond the music, the Coca-Cola Food Fest offered a diverse culinary experience, featuring more than 25 local food vendors serving a selection of authentic Zambian dishes alongside international cuisines.

The expanded food offering gave festivalgoers an opportunity to explore different flavours while celebrating Zambia’s rich food heritage and the role of shared meals in bringing people together.

The experience also extended beyond the food stalls and main stage, with specially designed entertainment and social spaces, including the Coca-Cola Lounge and Fanta Chill Zone. These areas provided patrons with opportunities to relax, interact and capture moments with friends.

The 2026 edition returned following the success of the previous year’s festival, with Coca-Cola promising a bigger and more immersive experience through an expanded vendor line-up, interactive brand activities and spaces designed for festivalgoers of different ages.

The event was also part of Coca-Cola’s global Coke with Meals campaign, which celebrates how sharing food can create meaningful connections and lasting memories.

From the diverse food options to the energetic performances and vibrant crowd, the festival brought together several elements of lifestyle entertainment, reinforcing the connection between food, music and social experiences.

For many who attended, the Coca-Cola Food Fest was more than just a food event. It was an opportunity to enjoy live performances, discover different cuisines and spend time with friends and fellow festivalgoers.

With its combination of culinary experiences and local and international entertainment, the festival once again placed Lusaka on the map as a destination for major lifestyle and entertainment events.
