Our Client in the financial services sector is sourcing for an experienced and results-oriented Risk and Compliance Manager to join the team. This is a management opportunity for a professional who will play a key role in strengthening enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, internal controls and organizational resilience, while promoting a strong culture of integrity and risk awareness. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Leading the identification, assessment and monitoring of strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks. Maintaining the corporate risk register and monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Ensuring compliance with Bank of Zambia requirements and other applicable laws and regulations. Developing and reviewing risk management and compliance policies. Coordinating compliance monitoring reviews across branches and departments. Developing and implementing fraud prevention and fraud risk management initiatives. Coordinating investigations into significant compliance and fraud incidents. Developing and maintaining Business Continuity and Operational Resilience plans. Preparing risk and compliance reports for Senior Management and the Board. Providing risk and compliance advice on new products and business initiatives. Promoting a strong culture of ethics, compliance and risk awareness. Building and leading the Risk and Compliance function as the organization grows. Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related discipline. A relevant professional qualification such as CIA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAZ or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage. At least 5 years’ experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit or Financial Services. At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role. Experience in a regulated financial institution or microfinance environment will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of Risk Management. Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills. High ethical standards, integrity and sound professional judgement.
