Position: Project Accountant | Lusaka | Full Time Ultimate Ingenuity is hiring a qualified, analytical, and detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage project budgets, financial tracking, cost control, and financial reporting in Lusaka, Zambia. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial management, cost accounting, and budgeting for assigned company projects. Prepare detailed project financial statements, variance analysis, and regular cost-to-complete forecasts. Ensure all project expenditures, invoices, receipts, and subcontractor billings are verified and accurately processed. Conduct regular financial reconciliations and maintain comprehensive project accounting audit trails. Ensure full compliance with Zambian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls. Candidate Profile: Full professional accounting qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA) or Degree in Accountancy / Finance. Active registered member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Proven experience in project accounting, cost control, or financial management. Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Pastel, Sage, or ERPs) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical mindset, integrity, and ability to meet strict project reporting deadlines.
