Position: Pastry Chef / Cleaner

WOWTIGER is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and responsible individual to join our team as a Pastry Chef / Cleaner at our Lusaka location.



Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation, baking, and handling of pastries and bakery items.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the work area.
Clean and sanitize baking equipment, utensils, preparation counters, floors, and dining areas.
Ensure proper, temperature-appropriate storage and handling of food ingredients.
Keep the entire workplace organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
Strictly follow health, occupational safety, and culinary hygiene regulations.
Assist the kitchen and operations team with other duties as assigned.




Requirements:

Previous experience in pastry preparation, baking, kitchen assistance, or commercial cleaning is an advantage.
Exceptional personal hygiene, grooming, and cleanliness.
Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and responsible personality.
Ability to follow recipes, cleaning schedules, and operational instructions accurately.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced food service environment.
