Mapepe Dairy Cooperative Society Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and hardworking individuals to fill the position of Milk Handler at our dairy operations facility in Chilanga.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving, grading, measuring, and handling raw milk from cooperative dairy farmers.
Operating milk cooling tanks, pasteurizing equipment, and dairy handling facilities.
Ensuring strict sanitation, personal hygiene, and bio-security standards across all milk reception, testing, and storage areas.
Carrying out routine milk quality tests (e.g. alcohol test, lactometer density checks, and temperature monitoring).
Maintaining accurate daily records of milk deliveries, volumes received, rejections, and inventory dispatched.
Cleaning and sanitizing milk cans, storage vats, pipes, and processing equipment.




Requirements:

Full Grade 12 Certificate.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in dairy farming, milk processing, or dairy handling operations.
Sound knowledge of food hygiene, dairy sanitization standards, stock management, and record keeping.
Good communication skills, high honesty, punctuality, and reliability.
