WE ARE HIRING — MACHINE OPERATORS Company: Apex Packaging Zambia Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates Application Deadline: 31st October 2026 A reputable manufacturing company based in Lusaka, Zambia, is seeking reliable, attentive, and mechanically inclined Machine Operators to operate production equipment in our corrugated carton plant. Key Responsibilities: Operate industrial machines including corrugators, printing presses, slotters, die-cutters, gluers, and stitching units according to operational parameters. Feed raw materials (paper reels, ink, glue) and monitor machine processes to ensure continuous production. Perform regular quality checks on output (carton dimensions, print alignment, flute integrity, folding accuracy). Conduct routine pre-shift and post-shift machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance checks. Adhere strictly to factory safety guidelines, wearing designated PPE at all times. Requirements & Qualifications: Grade 12 Certificate and Craft/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Machine Operation. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or packaging factory. Past experience in the corrugated carton industry will be an added advantage. Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Strong discipline, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety.
