A reputable manufacturing company based in Lusaka, Zambia, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and analytical Logistics Officer to coordinate dispatch, inventory movement, and fleet logistics.



Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods dispatches to clients.
Manage fleet routing, truck loading schedules, driver assignments, and fuel consumption monitoring.
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Liaise with the production and sales departments to guarantee prompt customer deliveries.
Ensure all transport and logistics operations adhere to safety standards and road transport regulations.




Requirements & Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Transport, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supply (CILT / CIPS), or related discipline.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant logistics and transport work experience in a busy commercial or manufacturing setting.
Past experience in the corrugated carton industry will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and fleet management abilities.
