Certified Bailiffs, Debt Collectors and Auctioneers | Build Your Future With Us Gerald Consultants, a firm of Certified Bailiffs, Debt Collectors, and Auctioneers, is looking for a qualified, ethical, and experienced In-House Lawyer to join our legal and commercial recoveries team in Lusaka. Position: In-House Lawyer Company: Gerald Consultants Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Minimum Qualification & Requirements: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognised university. Advocate of the High Court for Zambia with a valid practicing licence (Law Association of Zambia – LAZ). Experience or sound working knowledge in debt recovery, civil litigation, commercial enforcement, and execution procedures. Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and courtroom/advocacy skills. High level of integrity, professional conduct, and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Provide sound legal counsel and guidance on debt recovery, commercial litigation, and enforcement matters. Draft, review, and execute legal court documents, demand letters, warrants, affidavits, and settlement agreements. Represent the firm and its clients in court proceedings and legal dispute resolutions. Ensure all bailiff, debt recovery, and auctioneering operations comply strictly with Zambian statutory regulations and judicial rules. Liaise effectively with courts, clients, debtors, and law enforcement agencies.
