Level Field Consulting, on behalf of one of our esteemed clients operating in the mining and heavy equipment sector, is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated professional to fill the position of HSE Manager based in Lumwana, North-Western Province.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will support the company's mining operations and related service activities, with preference given to candidates who have relevant experience working with major mining companies and mining contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable Zambian occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and client standards.
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and safety audits.
Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor HSE performance and prepare regular analytical reports for management.
Promote a strong safety culture and compliance among employees and contractors.
Liaise effectively with client HSE teams, mine site management, and other relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant HSE professional certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years' relevant HSE experience, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment sector.
Experience working with major mining companies such as Barrick, First Quantum (FQM), or similar mining operations is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and incident investigation.
Valid driver's license and willingness to work at mining sites.
