1. HSE MANAGER – 1 POSITION Key Responsibilities: · Develop, implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. · Ensure compliance with applicable Zambian occupational health, safety and environmental requirements and client standards. · Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, toolbox meetings and safety audits. · Investigate incidents and accidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions. · Monitor HSE performance and prepare regular reports for management. · Promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors. · Liaise with client HSE teams and other relevant stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related field. Relevant HSE professional certification will be an added advantage. Minimum 5 years’ relevant HSE experience, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment sector. Experience working with major mining companies such as Barrick, First Quantum or similar mining operations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk management and incident investigation. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work at mining sites. 2. MECHANICS – 20 POSITIONS Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service, maintain and repair heavy mining and construction equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance. Complete maintenance records and service reports. Ensure equipment is maintained in safe and operational condition. Work in accordance with company, manufacturer and mining-site safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Grade 12 certificate with a relevant mechanical qualification, such as a Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Experience with mining or heavy construction equipment is highly desirable. Experience working on CAT, Hitachi or similar heavy equipment will be an added advantage. Previous experience working at major mining operations, including Barrick, First Quantum or similar mines, is highly desirable. Ability to work under demanding site conditions and shifts. 3. SALES PERSONNEL – 2 POSITIONS Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining and heavy equipment sector. Develop and maintain relationships with mining companies, contractors and other key customers. Promote and sell heavy mining and construction equipment, spare parts and related services. Conduct customer visits, product presentations and commercial negotiations. Prepare quotations, proposals and sales reports. Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities. Follow up on leads and maintain an effective sales pipeline. Support after-sales customer relationship management. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, construction or a related industrial sector. Proven experience selling heavy equipment, mining machinery, spare parts or related services. Previous experience dealing with major mining companies such as Barrick, First Quantum or similar mining operations is highly desirable. Strong business development, negotiation and customer relationship management skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to mining sites and client locations. 4. MAINTENANCE MANAGER – 1 POSITION Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance activities for mining and heavy equipment. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes. Lead and supervise mechanics and maintenance personnel. Monitor equipment performance, availability and reliability. Diagnose recurring equipment problems and implement corrective measures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare maintenance reports. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer maintenance requirements. Coordinate with clients and site management regarding equipment maintenance and service requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with supervisory or managerial experience. Strong experience in mining equipment and heavy machinery maintenance. Experience working with major mining companies such as Barrick, First Quantum or similar mining operations is highly desirable. Experience with CAT, Hitachi or similar equipment will be an added advantage. Strong leadership, planning, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work at mining sites. 5. TRANSLATOR & INTERPRETER – 2 POSITIONS Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate verbal and written translation and interpretation between English and Chinese. Facilitate effective communication between Chinese management, employees, clients and other stakeholders. Translate work-related documents, instructions, reports and correspondence where required. Assist during meetings, site activities, training sessions and other business engagements. Ensure information is communicated accurately and professionally. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, Business Administration or a related field. Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken. Previous experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in a mining, construction, engineering or heavy equipment environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a multicultural and demanding work environment. Previous experience supporting Chinese personnel in mining or industrial operations will be an added advantage. DIAMOND DRILLERS (6 Positions) Key Responsibilities: · Operate surface diamond core drilling rigs, including LF 90, LM 75, CS 14, LF 160 or similar rigs, to safely and efficiently extract core samples in accordance with project requirements. · Set up, align, level and stabilize drilling rigs at designated drilling locations to ensure safe and accurate drilling operations. · Operate drilling equipment and monitor key drilling parameters, including depth, pressure, rotation speed, water flow and penetration rates, to maintain optimal drilling performance. · Carry out diamond drilling operations in accordance with approved drilling plans, geological instructions and project specifications. · Monitor drilling conditions and make appropriate adjustments to drilling parameters to achieve efficient drilling and maximize core recovery. · Conduct core recovery, handling and preparation activities while ensuring that core samples are protected from damage, contamination or loss. · Ensure that recovered core samples are properly arranged, stored, labelled and secured for geological analysis. · Conduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections of drilling rigs, tools, pumps, compressors and other auxiliary equipment. · Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, servicing and minor repairs on drilling equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation. · Identify mechanical or operational faults and report major defects or equipment failures to the supervisor immediately. · Supervise Assistant Drillers, Drill Helpers and other members of the drilling crew, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently. · Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new team members on rig operation, drilling procedures, core handling and safe working practices. · Maintain accurate drilling records, including drilling depths, meters drilled, core recovery, sample information, drilling parameters, downtime and equipment performance. · Prepare and submit daily drilling reports, progress updates, equipment status reports and incident reports to the relevant supervisor. · Assist with the preparation and establishment of drilling sites, including clearing drill locations, positioning equipment and ensuring safe access to the drilling area. · Ensure that all drilling activities are conducted in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, environmental standards and applicable regulations. · Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate control measures before and during drilling operations. · Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements, including emergency procedures. · Ensure that drilling tools, equipment, core samples and other company property are properly handled, secured and accounted for. · Perform any other reasonable drilling and field-related duties as assigned by management or the supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities: · Proven experience operating surface diamond core drilling rigs, particularly LF 90, LM 75, CS 14, LF 160 or similar equipment. · Minimum of 2–3 years’ proven experience as a Diamond Driller or in a similar drilling position. · Strong practical knowledge of diamond core drilling operations, including rig setup, drilling, core recovery and sample handling. · Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to conduct routine maintenance, identify faults and perform minor repairs. · Ability to read and interpret drilling plans, geological instructions and drilling specifications. · Good understanding of drilling parameters and the ability to adjust operating techniques according to ground conditions. · Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and safe drilling practices. · Ability to identify hazards and respond appropriately to unsafe working conditions and emergencies. · Physically fit and able to perform manual work in demanding field environments and varying weather conditions. · Valid driver’s license and/or relevant machinery or equipment operation certification will be an added advantage. · Ability and willingness to work in remote and industrial locations, including rotational shifts, overtime and extended field assignments.
