The company is looking for qualified candidateS in the following positions: 1) POSITION – HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER Department: Human Resources & Administration Reports To: Human Resources Manager / Head of Administration Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the organisation in managing its employees and ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices. The role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, staff records, training, payroll support, and compliance with applicable labour laws and organisational policies. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment and Selection · Coordinate recruitment and selection processes from job advertisement to appointment. · Prepare job descriptions, vacancy announcements, interview schedules, and employment documentation. · Screen applications and assist with shortlisting suitable candidates. · Conduct or coordinate interviews and reference checks. · Facilitate employee onboarding and induction. 2. Employee Records and Administration · Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases. · Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence. · Monitor employee attendance, leave, and other staff movements. · Ensure HR files and records are properly maintained and regularly updated. 3. Employee Relations · Assist in addressing employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns. · Promote positive employee relations and a healthy working environment. · Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies and procedures. · Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes where required. 4. Performance Management · Coordinate employee performance appraisal processes. · Assist managers and employees in setting performance objectives. · Monitor completion of performance reviews and maintain relevant records. · Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate interventions. 5. Training and Development · Identify employee training and development needs. · Assist in organising training programmes, workshops, and staff development activities. · Maintain training records and evaluate training outcomes. · Support career development and employee engagement initiatives. 6. Payroll and Benefits Administration · Provide accurate employee information to support payroll processing. · Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, and other payroll-related information. · Assist with administration of employee benefits and statutory requirements. · Ensure payroll-related employee records are accurate and up to date. 7. HR Policies and Compliance · Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and applicable labour laws. · Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures. · Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practices. · Promote compliance with workplace health, safety, equality, and employment standards. 8. Reporting · Prepare regular HR reports and statistics for management. · Monitor employee turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, leave, and other HR indicators. · Provide HR information and recommendations to management when required. Qualifications and Experience · Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management & Public Administration. · Professional HR certification or membership with ZIHRM · At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in human resources. · Good knowledge of HR practices, employment procedures, and labour regulations. · Experience using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications. Job Purpose The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing construction and infrastructure projects to ensure that they are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with approved designs, engineering standards, and relevant regulations. 2. Key Duties and Responsibilities · Design and supervise the construction of buildings, roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other infrastructure projects. · Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and cost estimates. · Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility assessments. · Ensure that construction work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards. · Monitor project progress to ensure completion within agreed timelines and budgets. · Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. · Inspect construction materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are maintained. · Identify technical problems on site and recommend appropriate engineering solutions. · Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation. · Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and relevant building regulations. · Assist in procurement planning, resource allocation, and project cost control. · Review construction plans and recommend improvements where necessary. 3. Qualifications and Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution. · Registration with EIZ. · Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in construction, infrastructure development, or project supervision. · Knowledge of civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or relevant structural analysis software. · Understanding of construction methods, materials, engineering standards, and health and safety requirements. 4. Skills and Competencies · Strong technical and analytical skills. · Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. · Good project planning and organisational skills. · Effective written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Good computer skills and proficiency in relevant engineering software. 5.
