Position: Experienced Electricians (4 Vacancies)
Location: Mwambashi Mine, Chambishi, Copperbelt, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
15MCC Mwambashi Mine is seeking four (4) experienced, safety-conscious, and skilled Electricians to join its maintenance and operations team on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, wiring, distribution panels, and mine equipment.
Identify electrical faults and hazards promptly and execute repairs in full accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of power installations, motors, switchgear, and safety control devices.
Adhere strictly to mine safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and zero-harm operational policies (Safety First • No Harm).
Requirements & Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Craft/Trade Certificate in Electrical.
Proven hands-on work experience as an industrial or mine electrician.
Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures, regulatory codes, and hazard prevention.
Demonstrated ability to identify electrical hazards and execute work safely under challenging conditions.
Prior experience in a mining or industrial environment is an added advantage.
Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is an added advantage.
