Role Overview:
The Engineering Manager leads the engineering team, overseeing capital projects, plant maintenance, infrastructure, and transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable mining operations.



Key Responsibilities:

Lead, direct, and coordinate the engineering and maintenance department across mining processing plants and mobile fleets.
Oversee engineering projects from conception, design, commissioning, to ongoing maintenance.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and minimize downtime.
Ensure full compliance with mining regulations, occupational safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Manage departmental budgets, spare parts inventories, contractor activities, and technical personnel.




Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or related discipline).
5+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role within mining or heavy industry.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of mining plant operations, engineering software, and modern mining technologies.
