Chikosa Primary School head teacher Yolanda Chirwa is appealing for the construction of more classroom space to address the current increase in pupil attendance.

Ms Chirwa says the free education law has brought about a positive challenge that has seen pupils who dropped out of school due to lack of school fees return to school.

She added that while many children have been given a second chance to access education, there is a need to address the new challenge of classroom space at the school.

The Chikosa Primary head teacher is also appealing for the construction of more teacher houses at the school

Meanwhile, Chikosa Parents Teachers Committee Chairperson Kasanda Muswewa has also thanked the government for other interventions put in place to ensure learner comfortability while they acquire education.
