Nakacinda Case Adjourned to November 25 over Illness

Magistrate Mbuywana Sinvula has adjourned Raphael Nakacinda’s case to November 25, 2026, after his lawyer, Nkula Bota, told the court that he was unwell and needed medical attention.

The former PF  Secretary-General was released from prison earlier this week after serving a sentence for a separate offence.

Nakacinda is facing one count of failing to comply with a lawful summons from the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) over his 2022 allegations that the UPND transported vehicles carrying pre-marked ballot papers to Lusangazi, Mkushi and Mwense districts during by-elections.

Magistrate Sinvula warned that no further adjournments would be granted when the matter resumes.
