MUNDUBILE MUST ANSWER FOR HIS DEEDS, HE EMBARRASSED ME SAYS GIVEN LUBINDA.

Former Patriotic Front Vice President Given Lubinda says he has no sympathy for former Toonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, accusing him of humiliating and unceremoniously removing him from the alliance

Mr. Lubinda says he is not interested in the current political challenges facing Mr. Mundubile because, according to him, the former alliance leader embarrassed him during his time in the Toonse Pamodzi Alliance.

He says Mr. Mundubile and Alliance Secretary General Chris Zumani Zimba were among those who pushed him out of the alliance without proper consideration.

“I was unceremoniously kicked out and embarrassed by Brian Mundubile, Chris Zumani Zimba and others from the Toonse Alliance. So I can’t comment on whether what is happening to him is fortunate or unfortunate,” Mr. Lubinda said.

He added that Mr. Mundubile must now face the consequences of his own actions, saying he would not feel compelled to sympathise with him.

“But all I know is that Mundubile must answer for his deeds, and I will not be sympathetic with him. Let him deal with his issues,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lubinda has declared that his political ambitions remain alive, saying he would be ready to contest the presidency in 2031 if Zambians call upon him to take up the challenge.

Mr. Lubinda says he is not retiring from politics and has no intention of putting his political gloves aside.

He says, instead, his political journey is entering a new phase and he remains prepared to take on the challenge of national leadership should Zambians give him the opportunity.
