MOTOMOTO Museum Director Audrey Bwanjelala says the Museum has the potential to contribute to Zambia’s target of attracting five million tourists per year.

Ms Bwanjelala says through the development and promotion of heritage the Museum will play a key role in supporting the country’s tourism target in the Grow Zambia Agenda.

Ms Bwanjelela pointed to the policy direction of connecting the country through transport, digital infrastructure and border facilities to promote trade, tourism, and investment as one that will boost more tourism attraction.

Ms Bwanjelala observed that the Motomoto Museum is strategically positioned to promote heritage tourism because of its proximity to Kalambo Falls and Lake Tanganyika.

She said the Museum is located approximately 40 kilometers from Kalambo Falls, which lies along the Zambia-Tanzania Border.

“Motomoto Museum has the potential to contribute to Zambia’s target of attracting five million visitors, the Museum promotes the country’s rich cultural heritage and links key tourism attractions in the region,” Ms Bwanjelala said.
