JOB ADVERT: SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER AUTOFOX JAPANESE TYRES & SPARES – LUSAKA Position: Sales and Marketing Officer. Location: Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Tyre Trading / Automotive ABOUT THE COMPANY Autofox Japanese Tyres is a growing tyre trading company based in Lusaka, specializing in the supply and distribution of quality Japanese tyres for passenger vehicles, trucks, buses and commercial vehicles. Autofox Japanese Tyres & Spares is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Officer. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share. Identify and attract new customers, including individual motorists, garages, fleet owners, transport companies, and tyre dealers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Promote the company’s tyres and spare parts through field visits, social media, and other marketing channels. Prepare sales quotations, follow up on customer enquiries, and convert leads into sales. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Achieve agreed sales targets and prepare regular sales and marketing reports. Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies for business growth. Coordinate promotional campaigns and contribute to the company’s brand visibility. Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, and market leads. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements A Diploma in Sales and Marketing or an equivalent relevant qualification. 3–5 years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing. Proven ability to meet sales targets and attract new customers. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer relationship management and business development skills. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience selling tyres, automotive spare parts, or related products. Ability to actively visit garages, fleet operators, transport companies, and other potential customers to generate business. Knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
