Locations: Lusaka (Stand No. 2934, Chiparamba Rd) & Kitwe (Stand # 457/4, Mphezeni Rd), Zambia

Grand Stock Warehouse Limited is expanding its warehouse distribution operations across Zambia and invites qualified, proactive individuals to join our team as Safety Officers in Lusaka and Kitwe.



Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and security policies at the warehouse facilities and grounds.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk audits across warehouse storage bays, loading docks, and surrounding areas.
Identify potential occupational hazards and recommend prompt corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure mandatory and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by warehouse staff and visitors.
Monitor daily loading, offloading, forklift operation, and stacking activities for safety compliance.
Report, record, and investigate accidents, incidents, damages, and near misses.
Conduct regular safety awareness briefings and toolbox talks for warehouse and transport staff.
Maintain comprehensive safety registers, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Liaise with relevant statutory authorities and safety regulators when required.
Carry out any other safety-related duties assigned by management.




Requirements & Qualifications:

Relevant qualification/certification in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OSHE / SAMTRAC / NEBOSH) or related field.
Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with at least two (2) traceable professional references.
Certified copy of National Registration Card (NRC).
Certified/verified academic and professional qualifications.
Prior work experience as a Safety Officer in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or commercial distribution environment is an added advantage.
Strong communication, inspection, report writing, and leadership skills.
