Handyman’s Lime Limited is a Zambian Lime producer based in Masaiti on the Copperbelt. In 2017, the Company entered a management partnership with Carmeuse of Belgium. Carmeuse is the world’s leading producer of Lime and brings into the partnership extensive technical and marketing knowledge gained in 160 years of operations. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions in the Company. Job Title: Plant Operator – Production & Crushing X 4 The candidates should exhibit strong understanding of working in a modern control room as an operator with technical troubleshooting knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical faults in processing plants. Job Specifications: a) Full Grade 12 certificate holder. b) A member of E.I.Z. c) Holder of a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering obtained from a reputable institution. d) Exceptional applications will be considered from multi-skilled Technologist /Technician candidates with the flexibility to transition and work in processing plants. e) Minimum 5 years working experience in maintenance, mining, crushing and process operations and must be a team player. f) Proficient with use of Microsoft package and SCADA systems. g) Holder of a valid manual driving license will be an added advantage. h) Chinese or French language proficiency will be an added advantage. i) Programming knowledge will be an added advantage.
