We are still hiring for the position of  MECHANIC TECHNICIAN – HEAVY EQUIPMENT & TRUCKS

LOCATION: Copperbelt Province, Chambishi

QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement).
Trade Test / Craft Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics / Automotive Engineering.
Additional training in diesel engine systems, ideally Cummins engine training, is desirable.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Technician on heavy-duty equipment and trucks.
Hands-on experience with Cummins engines.
Experience working on XCMG equipment, Sinotruk / Sino truck, and other similar brands is highly desirable.
Experience in industrial, construction, mining or logistics fleet maintenance.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and repair skills for diesel engines and heavy-duty systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good time-management and organizational skills.
Understanding of safety standards and PPE use.
