Organization Introduction:
Joe's Earthworks & Mining Ltd (JEM) is seeking a hands-on HR professional to take ownership of HR and workforce mobilisation in a demanding mining environment. The company needs a professional who works under pressure, meets strict deadlines and gets personnel ready for site without avoidable delays.



Overall Responsibility:
To manage human resource functions and workforce mobilisation for mining operations, ensuring personnel are recruited, cleared, inducted and ready for site deployment while maintaining employee relations, labour compliance and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:

Drive recruitment, onboarding, medical bookings, fitness-for-work clearances, inductions, competency records and site-access approvals.
Liaise with the client, mine and service providers to resolve outstanding requirements and report mobilisation progress to management.
Track approvals and expiry dates and arrange renewals before they disrupt work.
Manage contracts, employee records, attendance, payroll inputs and employee relations.
Maintain labour and site compliance in full accordance with Zambian employment laws and client site standards.




Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in HR Management, Industrial Relations or a related field.
Current Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) membership and practising credentials, as applicable.
7+ years in HR, including 3+ years in a senior or management role within mining or mining contracting.
Proven mine mobilisation experience, strong Excel and document-control skills, and sound knowledge of Zambian employment requirements.
Contactable references confirming delivery under pressure and successful coordination with major mining clients and contractors.
