CHOPPIES – JOB VACANCY Job Title: Deli Assistant (Take Away) Location: Kaoma, Zambia Closing Date: 22 October 2026 Responsibilities To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat. Cook food using various utensils or grills. Check food while cooking, stirring or turning as necessary. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served. Keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check the quality of ingredients. Monitor stock and place orders when there is a shortage. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Food handlers’ certification and food production certification. 1–2 years of experience in a deli. Basic knowledge of food preparation. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Candidates should be medically fit. Skills, Abilities and Requirements Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stay calm and focused. Interpersonal skills. Supervisory skills, including the ability to train employees to use time efficiently and maintain high standards of service delivery. Additional Requirements Physical Examination Required: Medical Report and Police Clearance.
