Taste the Difference – Quality Fresh Meat and Butchery Products Position: Blockman (Butcher) Outlet / Branch: Mufumbwe Outlet Company: Lubona Meat Products Ltd Location: Mufumbwe, North-Western Province, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time Closing Date: 6th November 2026 Role Overview & Key Responsibilities: Cut, de-bone, mince, slice, and prepare various cuts of beef, pork, poultry, and meat products to company standards. Arrange and restock appetizing butchery displays with fresh meat cuts and clear pricing. Safely operate and maintain butchery equipment including band saws, meat mincers, and knives. Follow cold chain management procedures and stock rotation (FIFO) in cold rooms and freezers. Enforce the highest standards of cleanliness, meat hygiene, and sanitation. Serve butchery customers promptly, providing advice on cuts and preparation methods. Qualifications & Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or demonstrable butchery apprenticeship/experience. Proven experience as a Blockman or Butcher in a commercial butchery or supermarket. In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, carcass breakdown, equipment safety, and food hygiene standards. High level of reliability, stamina, and clean working habits.
