UPND candidate Cornelius Mweetwa has been declared duly elected Member of Parliament for Choma Central Constituency after polling 18,495 votes. Returning Officer Rebecca Kalumba announced the results at 13:40 hours, confirming Mr. Mweetwa’s victory over Independent candidate Baker Chakwana who received 14,803 votes.
