Wicknell Chivayo And Wife Lucy Muteke’s Funeral Service Underway In Harare
The funeral service of businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, is now underway at Olwen Crockery House in Harare, with Vapostori leading proceedings.

Family members, friends and fellow church members have gathered to pay their final respects to the couple as their funeral arrangements continue ahead of their burial at Glen Forest Memorial Park.

Vapostori Lead Funeral Rites
Vapostori are conducting the funeral rites in accordance with their church doctrine, with the service bringing together members of the couple’s families and church community.

Among those seen entering the chapel were Chivayo family members Joachim “G6” Chivayo, Moreblessing Madeline Chivayo and Ferg Chivayo.

Prophet Uebert Angel and businessman and politician Scott Sakupwanya are also among the high-profile guests attending the proceedings.

Top-Of-The-Range Vehicles At Funeral
A fleet of top-of-the-range vehicles has lined up at Doves Funeral Services in Harare as mourners attend the funeral proceedings.

The luxury vehicles have drawn attention outside the venue, reflecting the lavish lifestyle Chivayo was known for during his lifetime.

Scores of mourners have also been arriving at Doves to pay their last respects to the businessman and his wife.

Chivayo And Lucy To Lie In State
Meanwhile, following the funeral proceedings, the remains of Chivayo and Lucy are expected to lie in state at the Chivayo family home in Gletwin on Wednesday (today).

A vigil will be held at the residence as relatives, friends and other mourners gather to remember the couple ahead of their burial.

Their final resting place will be Glen Forest Memorial Park, where they are scheduled to be buried on Thursday.
