According to Muvi TV, Luyando’s body was discovered off Mwenda Street in Nkana East, Kitwe, with the matter reported at Esther Lungu Police Post at approximately 06:10 hours on October 7, 2026.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Luyando left her home on the night of October 5, 2026, through an open window. Her family reportedly began searching for her after she was reported missing.

On October 6, she sent her father a message indicating that she would call him back, but she did not make the promised call.
