WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR (01 POSITION)

Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Reports to: Manager – Internal Audit
Employment Type: Full Time



Job Purpose:
To undertake financial, operational, and Information Technology (ICT) assurance and consulting audit services in order to provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of institutional governance, risk management and internal control systems.



Principal Accountabilities:

Undertakes effectively the planning and performance of operational, financial, and ICT audit assignments to provide assurance on the effectiveness and adequacy of governance, risk management, and control processes, bringing necessary improvements.
Undertakes effectively the development, implementation, and review of internal audit and ICT audit policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure an effective internal audit function.
Undertakes effectively, the development and implementation of internal and ICT annual audit plans to ensure effective and prudent utilization of financial resources.
Undertakes effectively implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS) in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.
Undertakes timely monitoring and evaluation of planned programs in order to assess their impact and facilitate the development of appropriate interventions.




Qualifications and Experience:

Full Grade 12 / Form V School Certificate.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Computer Science / Business Administration / CIMA / ACCA / ZICA or equivalent.
Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Certificate as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.




Skills and Attributes:

Ability to write technical and analytical reports.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Tact and diplomacy.
Strong interpersonal and confidentiality skills.
