Job Description To support the development and delivery of robotics process automation solutions by assisting in the analysis, documentation, and implementation of business processes under guidance. This role is designed for individuals beginning their career in RPA development, with a focus on learning, growth, and contribution to automation initiatives. Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Support the development and testing of RPA solutions using approved tools and frameworks. Document business processes and assist in translating them into automation workflows. Participate in code reviews and adhere to programming standards and governance requirements. Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts under supervision. Learn and apply best practices in RPA development, including error handling and performance optimization. Participate in training and development activities to build technical and professional skills. Contribute to reporting and documentation to support decision-making and project tracking. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience developing automation solutions using one or more RPA platforms. • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. • Understanding of workflow automation, business processes, and system integrations. • Experience with version control systems such as Git. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Experience • RPA Development (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, etc.) • Programming languages such as: – C# – Python – VB.NET – Java • SQL and database management • API integration (REST/SOAP) • Excel automation and data processing • Web automation and desktop automation • Exception handling and logging • Process orchestration and scheduling Important Closing Date Note Take note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 12/10/26 All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
