LEVEL FIELD CONSULTING — CAREER OPPORTUNITY IN LUMWANA On behalf of an esteemed client operating in the mining and heavy equipment sector Level Field Consulting, on behalf of one of our esteemed clients operating in the mining and heavy equipment sector, is seeking 20 qualified, skilled, and motivated Mechanics to support heavy equipment maintenance in Lumwana, North-Western Province. Position: Mechanics (20 Positions) Company / Agency: Level Field Consulting (on behalf of client) Location: Lumwana, North-Western Province, Zambia Industry: Mining & Heavy Equipment Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service, maintain, and repair heavy mining and construction equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and engine faults and carry out repairs efficiently. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on fleet machinery. Complete accurate maintenance records, work orders, and service reports. Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe, reliable, and optimal operational condition. Work strictly in accordance with company, manufacturer, and mine-site safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Full Grade 12 Certificate with a relevant mechanical qualification, such as a Diploma or Trade Certificate / Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Repair (HER). Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Experience with mining or heavy construction equipment is highly desirable. Experience working on CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu or similar heavy earthmoving equipment is an added advantage. Previous experience working at major mining operations, including Barrick, First Quantum (FQM), or similar mines, is highly desirable. Ability to work under demanding site conditions and shift rotas.
