JOB VACANCY: GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER Empire Cote Limited is seeking a motivated and committed Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team on a contract basis for the supervision of road maintenance works. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision, monitoring, and coordination of road maintenance works, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor road maintenance works on site. Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies. Monitor the quality and progress of construction activities. Prepare daily site reports and maintain accurate project records. Coordinate with contractors, workers, consultants, and other project personnel. Monitor materials, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and report technical and site-related issues. Assist with measurements, inspections, and documentation of completed works. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution. Relevant experience in road construction, road maintenance, site supervision, or related civil engineering works is required. Practical experience in the supervision or monitoring of road maintenance works will be an added advantage. Knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and quality control. Good communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work effectively on site and as part of a team. Must be willing to work in field-based environments. Location Candidates who are based in Chibombo or Mumbwa Districts will have an advantage. Candidates based in Lusaka may also be considered.
